The secret is out! Christopher Nolan's dream world of Inception was heavily defined
by Yasutaka Tsutsui's novel, Paprika.
So if you enjoyed In“freaking”caption, you should also catch Madhouse’s version of Paprika
the animated movie, directed by Satoshi Kon. This ’06 anime tells of a mind-exploding
new psychotherapy treatment called dream therapy. Yeah, you guessed you! They
invented a machine that allows the user to view people's dreams, thus, exploring their
unconscious thoughts. The main storyline is lead by Atsuko Chiba, who uses her alter
ego Paprika to get back the stolen mind-invading device before all hell breaks loose.

Have not watch inception yet, but paprika is really not bad^^
The US are out of ideas thats why they get their source from another country
Nolan did say that Paprika was an inspiration to Ellen Page's character. I just think both directors are just similar when it comes to to making movies about the mind.
