What to watch?

Astro is showing repeats of the same shows over and over again, boring right? That's why
"I"
the writer has cut Astro time down to a whole 90%. Yes! "I"
the writer now watches
his 12inch laptop screen. Its way more advance then
the normal TV. The only down side is,
"I" the writer has to wait for it to
completely finish downloading. Yes! I'm a download'holic.
So are many
homosepians in Malaysia. Maybe that's why the World Wide Web is so damn
slow now-a-days!
Here are some series to look out for, well if you
have nothing to watch
that is.....

Detroit Metal City

Genre : Comedy
All about : Sōichi Negishi is a shy young man who came from the rural Ota Prefecture
to Tokyo for college and wished to become a kindergarten teacher. However, for some
reason he became the singer and songwriter of a metal band named "Detroit Metal City,"
with a stage name "Johannes Krauser II." Whenever he wears the heavy makeup, Negishi
becomes a completely different person, shouting the most vulgar profanities beyond
anyone's imagination. With the popularity of DMC increases, Negishi starts worrying his
double personalities can have negative effects on his (romantic) life off stage.
My thoughts : Just watched 1 episode and it was crazy! Bad words and single panel
shot in an Anime is kinda "out of the box" It's like the Japan KISS.

Knight Rider Returns To NBC On September 24

Story : Mike (Justin Bruening) and KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer) are assigned a seemingly
easy package delivery – until they realize the package is actually a man with vital top
secret code decryption built into his DNA. The mission gets complicated when the enemies,
including a mysterious woman (guest star Paula Garces, "The Shield" DAMN!), seem to know
a great deal about Mike and a past he can’t recall. Deanna Russo, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, Paul Campbell, Yancey Arias and Bruce Davison star. Smith Cho recurs.

My thoughts : KITT is back with "The Kilmer?" DAMN!

Heroes is back baby, Season 3 starts September 22

Story
: A 2 whole hours premier. The first chapter of “Volume 3: Villains” kicks off
moments after shots rang out, as the shocking identity of Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar)
assassin and the reasons why the Texas press conference had to be cut short are
revealed -- immediately throwing Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Matt (Greg Grunberg) into
unexpected, uncharted territory. With his powers partially restored, Sylar (Zachary Quinto)
decides a visit to Claire (Hayden Panettiere) could give him a boost. Meanwhile, in Tokyo,
Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) are charged with safeguarding a family secret
that could split the planet apart, and discover that the path to a grim future starts with
shady speedster, Daphne (guest star Brea Grant). In New York City, thanks to Maya (Dania
Ramirez), Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) makes a startling breakthrough that could change
the world -- or just destroy his. And who is Tracy Strauss? In the shocking second chapter
of “Volume 3: Villains,” Angela (Cristine Rose) confronts her much-changed son, Peter, as
the bursts of violence around them only hint to the catastrophes to come. First, Sylar
declares war on the Company by attacking their main facility, and finds even more than he
bargained for on Level 5. During a devastating battle with Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), a
dozen savage criminals -- all with terrible abilities -- escape. Meanwhile, Claire discovers
something new and unexpected about her abilities. Determined to reclaim his family’s
terrible secret, Hiro and Ando track Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to Paris. After a fateful
night, Suresh is thrilled to find his research, his life and his relationship with Maya evolving in
leaps and bounds. Stuck in unfamiliar territory, Matt finds a guide (guest star Ntare Mwine)
to help him. Ali Larter and Jack Coleman star.

My thoughts : Finally Heroes has come back to!.....my laptop.

Smallville Season 8 airs September 18th

Story : Forging ahead into its eighth season, this modern retelling of the Superman
legend and its classic characters continues to blend realism, action and emotional depth
to reveal a new interpretation of the enduring mythology. This season Clark Kent (Tom
Welling) moves closer than ever to embracing his calling as the iconic superhero he is
destined to become.

Spending less time in his hometown and more time in the big city of Metropolis, Clark will
encounter new challenges and a few new faces, both friend and foe, as he begins his career
at the Daily Planet. This season will feature visits by characters from every corner of the D.C. universe, including Plastique, the heroine-to-be with an explosive personality; Maxima, the
seductive, intergalactic goddess; and Superman's most formidable adversary, Doomsday,
the only character who is able to kill Superman. This season will also feature an appearance
by D.C. Comics' time-traveling Legion of Superheroes, who come back from the future in an
episode to be penned by renowned comic book writer Geoff Johns.

Last season came to a stunning conclusion with a confrontation between Clark and his
longtime nemesis, Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) under the frozen columns of Clark's arctic
Fortress of Solitude. Years of secrets came to a head as Clark's former friend finally discovered
the truth about Clark's alien heritage. Clark's world soon came crashing down as the fortress
crumbled in an icy avalanche, leaving both characters' fate a mystery. Lex's moment of truth
didn't come without a price. He murdered his father Lionel (John Glover) for the information
about the legendary "Traveler." Clark also had to defeat Brainiac (James Marsters), who had
banished Clark's Supergirl cousin Kara (Laura Vandervoort) to the Phantom Zone and attacked
both Chloe (Allison Mack) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk), leaving them both in catatonic comas.
Though Brainiac's demise ultimately lifted their trances, Chloe was soon arrested for hacking
into federal databases - just as she was about to respond to Jimmy Olsen's (Aaron Ashmore)
marriage proposal. Meanwhile, in a tearful, videotaped goodbye, Lana told Clark that she was
leaving Smallville and his life forever, encouraging Clark to fulfill his destiny - something he
cannot accomplish with her in his world. While one chapter of his life seemingly came to an end, another one was about to begin. With fewer commitments tethering Clark to the farm, Lois Lane (Erica Durance) asked him to apply for a job opening at the Daily Planet.

The season eight premiere takes place a few weeks after the Fortress' icy collapse, as a
LuthorCorp arctic excavation team investigates Lex's whereabouts. Meanwhile, members of
the Justice League, including Green Arrow (Justin Hartley,), Black Canary (guest star Alaina
Huffman) and Aquaman (guest star Alan Ritchson), reunite in the search for Clark, who has
been rendered powerless by the fall of the Fortress.

As episodes unfold, Clark's new position at the Daily Planet will mean working across the desk
from Lois. The two will be forced to team up to cover some of Metropolis' most pressing goings
on. Sometimes it's Lois herself who becomes Clark's biggest obstacle, especially when he's on
a deadline. With Clark and Lois thrust into such close proximity, sparks are bound to fly, and
feelings will start to surface that come as a surprise to both of them. At the same time, Clark
begins to discover the balancing act he must perform as he explores his dual identities as both reporter and superhero.

Even with Lex gone, the Luthor mansion isn't vacant for long. Its newest resident is the
beguiling Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman), who, according to Lex's written instructions, has
been placed in charge of LuthorCorp and all of its projects, including oversight of the Daily
Planet. Tess proves to be as inscrutable as she is cunning, and an enigmatic new presence in
our characters' lives. It won't be long before Tess' attention turns to Clark. But Clark is wary
of her intentions, and as the layers of her past are peeled away, new mysteries surface.
Through it all Tess' resolve remains unshakable - to find Lex Luthor, who she is convinced is
still alive.

Clark isn't the only one who will face formidable challenges. Oliver Queen has come back to
make Metropolis his home, where he finds himself at a crossroads, forced to travel through
some dark terrain - especially when demons from his past are reawakened. Oliver ultimately
begins to question his role as a superhero, just as Clark is embracing his own.

With a new fiancé and puzzling new abilities that intrigue her as much as they frighten her,
Chloe decides to turn her attention towards helping others. She takes over where Lana left
off and reopens the Isis Foundation to provide counseling for those with meteor-powered
abilities. She soon finds just how tricky the meteor-powered can be.

Chloe's life is further complicated when she meets Metropolis paramedic Davis Bloome
(Sam Witwer). A tireless public servant, Bloome strikes up a fast friendship with Chloe.
Soulful and mysterious, Bloome has demons of his own. He's troubled by large gaps of time
that he can't remember, and as he comes closer to the answers, he must confront his own
worst fear - that at his core he is pure evil.

"Smallville" was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar ("Shanghai Noon,"
"The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor"), based on the DC Comics characters. Kelly
Souders & Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer serve as executive producers,
along with James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. The series is produced
by Tollin/Robbins Productions and Warner Bros. Television. SUPERMAN was created by Jerry
Siegel and Joe Schuster.

My thoughts : No more Lex and Supergirl and beloved Lana. Why! oh why is my angel gone!

Max Payne the Movie
17 October 2008

Story : Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a DEA agent
(Wahlberg) whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin (Kunis) out to
avenge her sister's death. The duo will be hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless
corporation.
My thoughts : Kunis....its gonna be a 70's show?

Movie & Series Galore!

Facebook : The Movie
Yes! you heard me right, facebook is coming out with it's own movie. "I" the
writer was shocked when "I" the writer heard the news from a reliable source.
It's gonna be done by Aaron Benjamin Sorkin. The same guy that brought you A
Few Good Men, The Rock, Schindler's List & Charlie Wilson's War just to name a
few. Here's what he told NY Mag :

"I've just agreed to write a movie for Sony and producer Scott Rudin about how
Facebook was invented. I figured a good first step in my preparation would be finding
out what Facebook is, so I've started this page. (Actually it was started by my
researcher, Ian Reichbach, because my grandmother has more Internet savvy
than I do and she's been dead for 33 years.)

Last DBZ game for PS2

Yup that's right my dear beloved readers, Atari is giving the PS2 its last DBZ game.
It's called....

Whats the hype about? It takes the fighting elements and characters from the best 3
Budokai games and the two Shin-Budokai games and "Fusion" them all in to The Ultimate
Budokai game.
Wait....there is more then meets the eye here.

The battle system is taken from Burst Limit for the PS3. It’ll use the newer fighting engine
from Burst Limit, along with some new stuff such as: Ki attacks from the sky (same like Burst
Limit animation?)
, or diving into your opponent and smashing the crap out of them (like Burst
Limit as well?).

This game will have 40 characters not included various forms and also new effects joined together for the other 5 Budokai Games (Amazing!)

This Ultimate final game will also feature "Dragon Missions". Racing missions and other
"action scenes" will be done via the Dragon Missions. There could be time attack races
like Snake Road, gathering items, or other actions you need to perform (CATCH BUBBLES!
Classic!)
.

To the people who hate the Budokai Tenkaichi version, this is your change to go back to
the roots of the PS2 DBZ world and get your hands on this last Budokai game. It's fused
with the Shin Budokai game element as well. Isnt that just
mind blowing! But "I" the writer
would prefer another Budokai Tenkaichi game....but the world isnt fair is it?

This game will most likely come out end of the year like other PS2 DBZ games. Here are
some screen shots for your viewing pleasure.
