America is at it again!! and Blood pics

US Remake Of SHUTTER!!!

The Thai horror flick Shutter is somewhat a hit here among the folks at Twitch. Personally I
thought the film was OK, but then again I might be a tad jaded. One thing’s for sure, Shutter is an
extremely well-made horror film with some very good creepy moments. And we also know that
once Hollywood remakes an Asian horror film, it usually turns the material into tasteless crap.

While it’s hard to say, just from the trailer and stills we’ve got so far, whether the US remake of
Shutter
will be any good, the trailer, online now at MTV Movies, spells out things quite a bit and
there seems to be some ghostly “sexy time” too.

New Blood:The Last Vampire pics

The film, the live action remake of the hit Japanese Anime of the same name stars Jun Ji-Hyun ( Sassy Girl),
and Alison Miller ("CSI: NY").

Synopsis: Yakota Air Force Base, an American . military compound in Japan has been invaded by
shape-shifting vampires, known as Chiropterans. Carrying her lethal sword, Saya a grim faced
young woman of mysterious origins, infiltrate the base to track the creatures down and eliminate them.

It's Rambo...John Rambo

Rambo Review

Rambo is an upcoming 2008 film starring Sylvester Stallone as Vietnam War veteran
John Rambo. It is the fourth chapter of the Rambo franchise. In it, Rambo, now operating boats for tourists in Myanmar, leads a team of mercenaries to Burma to search for missing Christian aid workers. The film has been given an R rating by the MPAA due to "strong graphic bloody violence, sexual assaults and language".

The film's storyline, which is set in Burma, reportedly came about when John Rambo,
a Vietnam War veteran decided he wanted to set the action in a real-life, ongoing
area of brutal violence/genocide that was nevertheless not widely known or reported about. The situation in Burma has become more prominent in recent months due to the actions of the ruling junta there against wide popular protests, becoming Stallone's
area of choice to set the film.

Spoiler Warning!!!
I just watch on Friday! Very brutal, I mean like blowing peoples body parts brutal.
This movie was like seeing Rambo all over again. Back to the 80`s, where action movies
rule and violence is manly. This movie didn't feature S
tallone half naked running around
like a mad man with machine guns instead he runs with his bow and a parang?, guess
everything is saggy inside and no strength to hold a machine gun( age is catching up
Stallone
). The only thing disturbing about the movie was how they treated the villagers
no matter kids or adults like play things, like their lives were meaningless it was tormenting
to see them die that way and cutting of body parts. Plus the part they rape the girls
like animals (Dont bring your girlfriend to watch this movie) Guess war can be pretty ugly.
Other then that its a good movie for guys who miss the action and manly movies of
the 80s-90s.

Joker dead!

Actor Heath Ledger Is Found Dead

Mr. Ledger, a native of Perth, Australia, won acclaim for his role as a co-star in “Brokeback Mountain”, a 2005 film. The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx about two cowboys who
fallin love, won critical acclaim. Reviewing the film in The New York Times, the critic Stephen Holden wrote, “Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn.”

Mr. Ledger met the actress Michelle Williams while filming ‘’Brokeback Mountain.” The two actors fell into a very public romance. They had a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born on Oct. 28, 2005.
They moved to Brooklyn, but then separated last year.

In an interview in London for an article published in November, Mr. Ledger said told The New York Times, ‘’I feel like I’m wasting time if I repeat myself.” He said in the interview that he was not proud of his latest role, in Todd Haynes’s “I’m Not There,” in which Mr. Ledger was one of a half-dozen actors depicting the musician Bob Dylan. ‘’I feel the same way about everything I do. The day I say, ‘It’s good’ is the day I should start doing something else,” said in the interview.

Calls by The Times to Mara Buxbaum, a publicist for Mr. Ledger, and Steve Alexander, the actor’s agent, were not immediately returned this afternoon.

The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment building at 421 Broome
Street in SoHo, according to the New York City police. Mr. Ledger was 28.

At 3:31 p.m., a masseuse arrived at Apartment 5A in the building for an appointment with Mr.
Ledger, the police said. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then
knocked on the door of Mr. Ledger’s bedroom. When no one answered, the housekeeper and
the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger unconscious. They shook him, but he
did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.

The police said they did not suspect foul play. Officials said pills were found near the body.

Thomas J. Lueck contributed reporting.

FINISH!! and Cloverfield

It`s done!! Finally!! After 2 whole days..suffering and asking people with these experiences, I'm finally done!! Yattaaaaaaaaaaaaa! As for my 1st post, Review of Cloverfield.

This movie was the hype of last year and was a mystery. What is Cloverfield? It was called 1.18.08 at 1st (guess they couldn`t come up with a title that time) I had full of questions about it and the teaser was really teasing..oh and I do mean teasing like a school girl revealing her undergarments. Then the website come out, showing photos and they said it has clues. I checked it all and the only clues I found was a Devil face in the smoke and a devil figure in between the girls faces..Thats it?
Oh and you could flip the photos back to see writing at the back..Thats really it.

Then the 2nd trailer came out and it had nothing...no clues on what this Cloverfield was..
except for...........wait for it.....wait for it....The 2nd trailer came out with a leg or a body of the monster..and it was half a second of it. I mean WOW! thats really something eh. Then youtube

come out with other stuff and my favorite part of all the youtube hype was the Official Cloverfield Monster Drawing..when that came out I was like wow!, DAMN! It gonna be one hell of a movie.

I live in Malaysia so we get our new movies on Thursday. The time we all have been waiting for is here. CLOVERFIELD! and we got it 17.1.08 (hah! in your face USA!!) Well being the secretary of the Movie club
in the place that I work. I almost took all the art team and brought them to this lovely movie..
This Masterpiece..This Cloverfield..

All hyped up for the 5pm show. We all went and so it with full of hopes and dreams like a kid that is gonna get his Bumblebee or a Barbie Play set..bought our snacks and waited..Thus the movie showed. I have to say good Intro. From there everything went down hill..even my friend beside me shouted the word the "F" word!

Final review before I shut my mouth (still in the "I got a blog hype") The camera was shaky like Blair Witch Project and I mean it was shaking like a vibrator on steroids. The story is like your typical guy loves a girl and goes all out for her even if it kills him and his "stupid friends". I mean If you love a girl this much why.. oh god why would you get her when there is a huge a$ monster attacking the city? Do you love her that much? Ahhhhh!... love..its such a mystery. The monsters in the movie was kinda cool but not enough screen time and this was suppose to be a monster flick. Final score (really im done)

Audio - 2/10 (they had a soundtrack at the end and thats it!)
Video - half /10 ( like I said a vibrator on steroids)
Story - 1 (a love story in a middle of a monster movie? and humans get most of the screen time)
Rating - X (yes I know F is the lowest)

P.S
Its just my thoughts, no offense to anyone who liked this movie.
Its a free world right?
