That's right boys & girls, its freaking official, Marc Webb has been hired to direct
the "Spider-Man" reboot. You feeling sad? moaning? & want more of Raimi? Well
fear no more good folks! For there is a website dedicated to getting back Sam on
Spidey's web. Sign the petition! But!
"I" the writer would personally like a to witness what this new guy do. It has been
decided that Webb will do an entire new trilogy! Which will look & feel very different
from the Sam Raimi movies. The plan for the 1st movie is to be in the $80 million range
& will feature a cast of "unknowns".
The story will be pared down to center on a high school kid who is dealing with the
knowledge that his uncle died even though the teen had the power to stop it.
The concept for this re-boot will not be the 1960s comics, which inspired Sam Raimi,
who grew on up on them, but! it will be "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics by Brian Michael
Bendis & Mark Bagley where the villain-fighting took a back seat to the high school
raging hormone kid.
The film will go into production this year & appear in theaters during the summer of '12.
So what is the moral of this story? The moral is, Hollywood can re-boot any movie once
it gets sour, Nuff' Said!

hunted by members of a race of merciless alien trackers called Predators. Directed
by Nimrod Antal, the film opens on July 7th '10.
