robots conquering our once peaceful life has become reality. Here below me
is a clip of an bishoujo android named HRP-4C. Of course it was created by
the all so cleaver Japanese people who has yet to see these U.S sci-fi movies
about the predictions of World's End!
She has an impressive combination of bipedal humanoid locomotion and simulated
human interaction. HRP-4C, can walk and talk with reasonable aplomb, being able
to manage a self-introduction and a saunter which is optimistically described as
being "just like a fashion model".This all so lovely robot is most likely to be in stores
next year. No likely price is mentioned. Maybe you have to be a thousand-air to
buy this "killing walking machine"
The unit was developed by a governmental robotics lab, under the auspices of
the National Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (AIST). It is 158cm
tall and weighs 43kg, being capable of operating on battery power for 20 minutes.
The Japanese researchers have obsessed over none-too-practical (but very
impressive) bipedal robots, with androids as the distant goal, whilst elsewhere
(notably the US) we see a more utilitarian approach which is happy to incorporate
all manner of animal and mechanical motion to get the job done efficiently. Will
they follow the "3 rules" like I.Robot?
Soon human will no longer need life-partners or the painful word break-up,
humans will have a loyal robot by their side like the anime "Chobits". Then the
creators can make the robots in what ever form we want them to take. If your
an anime freak, maybe you would like this...
or even a lover/friend that could never age...
Transformers update!
The Bay says that Transformers 3 will be out July 4th 2012!
The Bay quotes.
"[T]hey [Paramount and DreamWorks] asked me on the phone," he continues.
"I said yes to July 4 - but for 2012 - whoops! Not 2011!!!"
"That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain
needs a break from fighting robots."
FIGURES - coming to a store near you!
